Keys were emailed to me, free WiFi , beautiful garden views, and I even got to enjoy a barbecue with a dishwasher. Free parking nearby, thank goodness.
Who needs food storage in the kitchen? Just stack up on glasses instead.

The Hayloft - 17238 in York was absolutely incredible! The room was like a hidden gem nestled in nature. I felt like I was in my own little paradise, with a private bathroom and a hot tub where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views. It was a dream come true for someone like me who loves to be in direct touch with nature.
The only thing I didn't particularly like was the size of the bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

We had an amazing stay at the Hayloft! The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage was spotless and had such thoughtful touches, like fresh milk, bread, and butter waiting for us. The warm and cozy atmosphere made us instantly feel at home. The showers were fantastic and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding areas and visit local attractions. The on-site facilities were also a big hit, especially the games room with its wide selection of puzzles, DVDs, and games. We had such a great time that we are already planning to come back next year. We can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely little cottage with a garden. Free WiFi, perfect for posting my Insta-worthy pics. Close to York Minster and Flamingo Land, where I can take super cute selfies with flamingos! And free parking, because why walk when I can drive everywhere?
A few glitches, like a sticking door and some non-working lights. But hey, who needs lights when you have Instagram filters to make everything look better?

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh milk, bread, and butter waiting for us. the cottage was spotless and well-maintained, showing real attention to detail. the warmth of the cottage and the lovely showers added to the overall comfort. It truly was a fantastic place to stay, with nothing to fault.
While our overall experience was great, there were a couple of minor issues. We found a sticking door in the downstairs shower and some non-working lights in the lounge.

The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised to find fresh milk, bread, and butter waiting for us upon arrival. the house was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and cozy place to spend our Christmas holiday. the location was also perfect, situated in a quiet area but still easily accessible to nearby attractions. We appreciated the convenience of having a Toby Carvery just a stone's throw away, as well as the option to take a bus or taxi into the city center. the thoughtful touches, warm atmosphere, and great location made our stay truly fantastic.
Some areas, such as the sauna and games room, were unfortunately full of cobwebs, which could have been tidied up before our arrival. the broken dartboard prevented us from enjoying a game.
